Social Inclusion Through Sport seminar
24.–25.4.2025, Kisakallio Sports Institute
This seminar focused on making organised sport accessible to all. It gave sport managers the tools to reach out to people with different needs. The event was hosted by sport journalist Tero Karhu.
The seminar was part of Basketball Finland's Erasmus+ Sport project 'Unified Through Basketball', which focuses on promoting social inclusion through sport. Participation was free of charge, which meant that all the costs were covered except for flights. Transport between Helsinki airport and the venue, the Kisakallio Sports Institute was provided. The second afternoon and one of the parallel sessions were held in Finnish.
